Kraków, Poland's capital between the XI and XVI century, is a special city with approximately 3000 historical buildings from various periods. Sightseeing includes the Old Town area, the Wawel Castle, Wawel Cathedral and St
Mary's Church -they all are on the UNESCO list of the World Cultural Heritage.
Kraków is also an excellent starting point for visits to other interesting places like:
Oświęcim - Memorial and Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau. The name of the city of
Oświęcim was changed to Auschwitz by the Nazis in 1940 and became as well the name of the camp, which was established by them in the suburbs of the city. Then all over the world, Auschwitz has become a symbol of terror, genocide and the Holocaust.

Saturday - 7th September 2002 (1st
day)

arrival of the group to Kraków by train

check-in at the Kraków hotel

early-afternoon trip to Oświęcim - sightseeing of
Nazi Camp (approximately 5,5 hours)

dinner in the restaurant at the Old Town area

back to the hotel
Sunday - 8th September 2002 (2nd day)
-
after breakfast check-out of the hotel (possibility
of leaving luggage in hotel deposit till departure - reception desk)

meeting with English speaking guide, approximately
3,5 hours sightseeing of KrakŰw - Wawel Castle, Wawel Cathedral and St Maryís
Church with the Old Town area (entrances included)

time at leisure

departure by train to Warsaw
Excursion includes: express train ticket
Warsaw-Cracow-Warsaw, English speaking guides, dinner, all entrances, one night
accomodation at the hotel in Kraków.
Duration of the event - 2 days
Price: when 10 persons minimum - 335 EUR p.p.
These excursions require a minimum number of
participants. You will be notified and refunded by First Class if the required
minimum number of bookings has not been achieved by June 31, 2002.
